The Storm King Quarter-Zip Fleece designed to move easily between cold weather running and everyday wear. It works just as well layered up for a winter run as it does thrown on for the rest of the day. The quarter (almost half) zip allows for quick temperature regulation, especially for runners who tend to run warm, while the soft interior stays comfortable when conditions turn cold and windy.

What stood out over time was just how wide the range turned out to be. On very blustery winter days, the Storm King held its own thanks to its natural wind resistance. From the mid 20s through the mid 40s, and well beyond if you are heading to the office, this is the piece you keep reaching for because it simply works.

We do not release products without serious testing, and the Storm King Quarter Zip Fleece is no exception. It grew naturally out of our winter lineup, designed to provide reliable protection for cold weather running without unnecessary bulk or distraction.

Every detail serves a purpose. The rear zip pocket is positioned for easy access and secure storage of a card, cash, or keys while on the move. A subtle reflective strip accompanies the front zipper for added visibility when light fades. The design stays intentionally minimal, because when a piece is this versatile, the small decisions matter most.

Fit Guidance

"Straight Cut" garments are generally designed for individuals with a more uniform torso, as the garment is generally straight in its construction. Its size bands are commonly described or labeled by other brands as a "men's cut," "unisex cut," or "tailored unisex" though our garments are not slim fit. The size you most expect to be, if reaching for a garment labeled as "men's," would be a helpful starting point.

Bakline firmly believes that garments should be described with respect to how they are designed. Anyone, regardless of gender, can be comfortable and perform well in any of our cuts depending on your personal preferences, body shape, size, and style.
