General Information about U.S. Based Returns

At Bakline, we care very much about the your experience and satisfaction. While we make every effort to provide you with the right product, we understand that certain circumstances may require returns, refunds, or exchanges. If you need to return or exchange an item based on the guidelines below, we will gladly make it happen and cover the return shipping if you are in the 48 contiguous United States.

Your return will be processed once we receive it at our facilities, and refunds will be issued based on the method and amount of the original purchase. Once the return is processed, you will receive an email notification. Please allow 1-2 billing cycles for the refund credit to appear on your statement.

General Information about International Returns

At present, we only have a formal process for U.S.-based returns. This does not mean that won't work with you as an international customer. It just means you will receive a more personal interaction with our wonderful support staff to find a solution! You can also fill out the form but the process may be a little different. 

Important Notes

  • Your return MUST be unused. There are no exceptions. 
  • All returns must be requested within 90 days of the original purchase and postmarked within 105 days unless otherwise agreed with Bakline Staff.
  • Bakline will provide you with a prepaid label or you can arrange for an in person meet up at our production studio in Brooklyn.
  • Verify the return address (your address) that is printed on the label. By default, your return label will use the address the item was shipped to.
  • All refunds will be credited through the method of payment used for the original purchase.
  • Exchanges are subject to availability. 
  • If we receive an item and find that it has violated our guidelines, your request will not be processed and speak with you on next steps.
  • Once we receive your return, we will process it as soon as possible and inform you of any major delays.
  • If you are due to receive a refund, please allow for 1-2 billing cycles, though we will process the refund immediately and you will receive a refund confirmation. 
  • If your item meets this criteria, follow the steps below.

Return Instructions

  1. Fill out the form below. The form is the preferred method for us to process your request in a timely manner. Only if the form is not working, you may email to initiate the return process with your order number starting with "BR" in the subject line. Your email should state whether you are looking for a refund or an exchange. If it is for an exchange, we must verify that the desired size is available. Once we have collected the necessary information, we will email you a return UPS shipping label.
  2. Put your item in a protective bag. Our shipping mailers are meant to be reusable for this purpose, though it is not required that you use the original packaging. Please include your packing slip in the shipment. 
  3. Attach your prepaid shipping label to your box or poly mailer and bring it to any USPS Store location (or other carrier if we arranged that with you).
